Cheney cashes in

After 8 years spent in office avoiding the media, former vice president Dick Cheney has opted to put his life in print in a deal reportedly worth more than $2 million.
Simon & Schuster is set to publish Cheney’s memoir in the spring of 2011, just months after former President George W. Bush’s book is due out.

And since Cheney’s 40-year govt career goes as far back as the Nixon and Ford administrations, chances are this is going to be quite the page-turner – or at least there will be a lot of pages to turn!

Other Bush officials also writing books including Laura Bush, Karl Rove, Condoleeza Rice, former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, and former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.
